Baronhawk Poitier & Lee Levingston Perine, Black in Space 

Join Black in Space for a two-hour auditory experience as we celebrate Highlander’s 90th Homecoming and experience the possibilities of our collective future. Baronhawk Poitier will guide us on a sonic journey filled with musical menageries and out of this world ear candy. This evening’s program was designed by Baronhawk Poitier and Black in Space’s Founder, Lee Levingston Perine.

Lee Levingston Perine is a curator, creative and ambassador of joy. He is the founder of Black in Space - an arts collective that celebrates the artistry, diversity and resilience of Black LGBTQ+ communities through media, storytelling and technology. He loves laughing, making magic and dancing to Sylvester.

Baronhawk Poitier is a Washington, DC based DJ, producer. Signed to Honey Soundsystem Records with releases on labels Nervous Records, Cool Ranch Records, Get Up Recordings, Black Techno Matters, TraxOnly, Majorettes, Future Times and Lagasta, his sets ignite dance floors into a frenzy.
