Join Highlander Research and Education Center and movement family from across the region and globe at our 90th annual Homecoming event September 30-October 2, 2022!

This hybrid in-person and virtual event is an opportunity to gather with comrades, friends, and families to create and share our visions for the future story of the South. There is a new world coming and we are thrilled to be building it with you.

Fill out one registration form for each person attending. Please register children/youth individually.

This registration form will allow you to choose between attending virtually, in-person, or let us know later. We are closely monitoring Covid and pending risk levels, and may pivot to include even more virtual programming. This decision will be made and communicated at minimum 6 weeks in advance to all registrants.

The Schedule: We will be rolling out detailed schedule information in the coming months. A current “in-the-works” schedule for in-person events is listed below. The Virtual Schedule and sign up for workshops will roll out in August for those registered for Virtual Homecoming.

• Friday September 30: 3:30pm Registration Opens / Programming 4pm-10pm
• Saturday October 1: 8:00am Registration Opens / Programming 9am-11:30pm
• Sunday October 2: 8:00am Registration Opens / Programming 9am-2pm

Virtual: We’ll be both live streaming events from the Hill and providing unique “Virtual Only” programming. These interactive workshops will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

Cost: For our 90th Anniversary we are providing a sliding scale in $90s. We recommend the following:

In-person Attendees:

• Full Weekend (Friday-Sunday) - $190
• Half days (Friday or Sunday) - $45
• Saturday - $90

Virtual Attendees:

• Full Weekend - $90
• Partial Attendance / Only attending specific programming - $45

Registration will give you an option to pay on-site/at a later date if you aren’t sure if you are attending virtual or in-person.

As you are able, we encourage you to register at a higher ticket price from $290-$990 to support Highlander’s on-going work.

Where to stay: Information about recommendations for where to stay is on the website. Highlander will not be providing on-site housing options other than camping (info on the website).

Childcare/Youth: As we strive to keep the next generation safe, we will continue to closely monitor Covid rates. At this time there will be childcare for children ages 0-5. This may change and we will notify registrants 6 weeks prior to Homecoming about childcare for our youngest.

Children’s Justice Camp will be available for children ages 6-12.

Seeds of Fire will provide youth programming for ages 13-25.
